Hi, my name is Pamela Mora Navarro, I live in Universidad Nacional neighborhood and I have been working at the United Nations Language School for 1 year. I am an English Professor with emphasis in high school teaching, I worked with the MEP for a couple of years, but this year my life took a big turn for the better when I started working at the United Nations Language School. This has been a wonderful experience for me, for me teaching classes here is not a job; it is to enjoy something that I adore doing, the English language; meeting people and making friends. Showing up to class and finding students who are eager to learn and full of hope, is something truly incredible, it makes professors want to work, to help the students quench that hunger for learning that they have, and helping them fulfill that dream, the dream of speaking and understanding this important language. After having worked at another institution, I have come to realize that the teaching method employed here at the United Nations Language School really works, the books, the CD´s and the support materials all help the Professor to get the student speaking and understanding the English language. These books and CD´s have been created specially for our population, based on the needs of the students. I believe this is the main reason why the school has been so successful. I hope to continue working in this institute for a long time and to help many more people to achieve and make their dreams a reality.
